Photographer's Note

Another shot of the beautiful medieval fortress, Dubrovnik. As one can see on that picture, Croatia is a kind of religious crossroad in these unstable Balkans.

Indeed, on the very center, you can see the old Seferad Synagogue in Europe built in the XVth century, in its back the Saint-Blaise church with the highest dome elevated in 1715. On the very right top side, it's the Assumption cathedral rebuilt in 1713 after the great 1667 hearthquake : before that, there were a byzantin church built during the VIIth century. Be careful, the great tower on the left is a trap : it's not a religious building this time but the clock tower built in 1444 under which you walk to access the old harbour.
