Photographer's Note

Do you think this is a boring place?
Certainly it wasn’t boring for my 4 year old daughter!
In fact this may have been her favourite part of the whole trip to Croatia.
This place has been recommended to me by Agnes (miumiu) a while ago.
It is the Kraljičina plaža in Ninska Laguna. Nin is a little town located 20 minutes by car from Zadar. This is a view from the balcony of my hotel room. It is one of the rare sandy beaches in Croatia. In spite of its sand not being golden nor white, it is very clean. It is also very shallow being perfect for families with little children. When I first entered the water I was a bit disappointed because there were some rocks inside but when you go further away from the shore there are no more rocks just sand again.
The roof which you see here is a lovely beach bar, and the hotel I took this photo from, has an elegant but not too expensive restaurant with delicious food and stunning views.

Great place to rest, after an intense sightseeing of beautiful Croatian towns!
