Photographer's Note
They're not exactly poppies but the strong red color of those flowers nonetheless reminded me of them. I don't know how often they sell flowers on the Grand Place but it just shows you that it's still used a market square and not just a tourist attraction.

Hello Philip !
Congratulation for your work on the colors ! You may have worked a lot. The only damagable thing to your picture is the machine in the background, but your black and white choice makes it disapear. It looks like an alive place.
Thanks for sharing !

hi,
your composition is great,
the red is really a success with this buildings and b&w,
of course you 've couldn't done much about the wrecker on the top of the photo!

Bonjour Philipp,
Best regards.

Hola, Philipp, love the combination of the BW and strong saturation of the flowers on the foreground. Just my personal opinion, unless it was your original intention, I would have cropped the crane out of the image, right above the head of the people. Nonetheless it is a very good image.
Cheers,
Enrique

Hi Philipp,
Seems you like desaturation:)
Very good colour of the flowers, so strong and clear is a great contrast to b/w background. Very good photo!

Hi Philip!
I like the combination of the B&W and the red colors. Very good composition, with the beautiful building in the background and the lot of lovely Geranium (one of my favorite flowers) in the foreground.
Thanks for sharing!
