Hello John,
You have shown us a lot of canals but probably never before a flooded road. I don't know if this is normal in Belgium or another sign of global heating and climate change. This looks amusing, but maybe I shouldn't smile at this sight but worry about worse times to come. But in good time for you the weather had turned and created perfect photo conditions.
Best regards,
Gert

Hello John, we are used to seeing pictures from you with lots of water, but this is a little different. Two excellent pictures with the flooded tracks.
A bicycle seems to be the best choice of transport for moving about.
The blue sky adds a lot to the overall impression of the day.
Thanks for sharing, kind regards, Jean.

Hallo John,
Vele groeten, Paul

Hi John,
You have captured well the action of the cyclists. The point of view is showing the details of the flooded path and pf the trees. The light is making the colors to stand out. Have a nice day.

Hi John
Love the pov such appealing scene, but with heavier rains for the future and less maintenance on the roads this scene is likely to become more common. Set up camera and wait...
Best regards

Hello John,
The water s covering the trail do not seem to bother the cyclists, were you riding your bike, as well?

Pozdrav.
Interesantan pogled i trenutak, dobar tekst ...
Lepo mesto u danu sa velikom vodom, dobro pokazano sa lepim bojama, kontrastom, perpesktivom i uhvacenim trenutkom sa biciklistima.
Velike kise donose poplave i probleme, biciklistima nije smetala velika voda da odvoze svoju etapu.
Dobar rad sa lepom fotografijom u radionici.
Dobar tekst o korsicneoj tehnici i elementima snimka.
Zelim vam lep dan za odmor, sve najbolje.

Hi John,
As in most of your photos I really admire the incredible clarity of the image and perfect sharpness.
The depth of the field is amazing we can see everything crispy sharp from the grass in the foreground to the trees on the horizon.
The bikers add some depth and more interest here. Beautiful weather day and the flooded path makes it feel as if they were biking on the water.
Very well done,
M

Dag John,
mooi moment met al die wielrenners op een rijtje. Die houden geen droge voeten vandaag.
De samenstelling van uw foto met de paaltjes aan de andere kant is erg sterk.
groet, Gerrit

Hi John
This 'after the storm' picture gives us a very good image. Colours and reflections adding a lot. The cyclists giving life to the image.

48 mm ins't a so big rain for us, here we get in troubles with 100 mm, but your homeland is a lower region. anyway at this moment we are facing a drought and we are crazy waiting for rain.
very nice contrast of the flooded areas and the blue sunny day. TFS.

Mooi licht en gelukkig valt het wel mee met die overstroming, zo te zien. Wielertoeristen blijven er alleszins niet voor thuis. Mooie foto, John. Groetjes & hou het droog, he!

Hello John
I like the wake created by the lead cyclist, although normally it would be a boat doing this! The partly submerged fence and reflection in the puddle add further focal points. Tfs!

Hi John.
A great composition, with a beautiful landscape that acquires more charm after the rain, because the colors look more vivid and everything looks cleaner, curious the cyclists circulating along its track converted into a stream, the photo of the WS is also very beautiful.
Sharpness, lighting, color, and magnificent composition; they are managed to perfection, in this beautiful image.
Good job. I like very much.
You have a good day. Very best regards.
Luis.

Dear John,
I have missed a lot of great photos from you. I have to apologise. On the other hand I have to express my congratulations for making this excellent photo. I like how the cyclist fight against nature. In the meantime, the photographer obeyed the rules of composition.
Best Wishes,
Gy.
