The choice of viewpoint has resulted in an interesting silhouette and dynamic composition. I would have preferred a smaller frame.

Very dramatic perspective, and beautiful colors. + + + to make your own personal (and very good) twist to a common motive!

This one works very well for me Pascal. Your choice of silhouette and the dinamic of the rotated canvas and interesing sky come to gether in a very pleasing shot.

I agree about the dynamism of your composition. I will add that the streaks of clouds in the sky seem to add tension to the bow and the arms of the archer, just as he is about to fire. And the streak (an aircraft contrail?) just below his grip on the bow could almost be an arrow!
Top marks for originality and for composition. Superb photo!

Not even your ghastly frame can detract from a tremendous photograph! This is just great. The positioning of the dynamic statue, the color of the sky, the color of the buildings. Really nice.
Without the frame, the building and the sky really jump out, with the matched-color frame they get sucked into common shading...
(I might have been tempted to clone the cloud sticking out of his bum though.)
