Grodno or Hrodna see also other names) is a city in western Belarus. It is located on the Neman close to the borders of Poland and Lithuania It has 365,610 inhabitants (2016 census). It is the capital of Grodno Region and Grodno District.

how awesome is that to have the lady in red beside the flags, I'm sure she's wearing that color on purpose, but still...for the photo it looks great. a unique subject, bright colors, its alive and eye catching! cheers

To było jakieś święto? Ja byłam w Mińsku 9 maja i wszędzie były własnie takie dekoracje no i stragany. Lady in red dobrze tu podeszła.

Good play with the hues in opposition green vs red. The lady dressed in red is a good focus point; I would have cropped the image (see my WS) to remove the people at right, not in the mood of the picture

Quelle dame en rouge sueprbe et elle est bien accompagnée avec ces drapeaux coorés quel captage et vue et les drapeaux vert qui se contrastent grandisoe image.

Hello Piotr,
Somehow Belarus has an image of a grey and dull Soviet state, but there is no lack of colours in this place. The lady in red is a perfect complement to the assembly of bright flags.

The photo gives a great impression of this square with the small market stalls on the right and the large sculpture with its green and red flags on the left. The light was fine and the lady in red is a very nice detail too.

The construction of red and green flags makes a most interesting focal point, but the lady in red also has a part to play in the success of the composition. I like the lights and colour contrasts.

The red and green cyan colors are perfect complimentary opposites on the color wheel and work well here too. Good sharpness and the lady in red at right enhances the shot. Tfs!
