Kufstein
Kufstein is a city belonging to the homonymous district of Austria in the Tyrol. The city is located on the Inn River and is close to the border with Bavaria (Germany).
The town has 15,000 inhabitants, a delightful old town and is also known as "the pearl of Tyrol", thanks to a German song composed in 1947 and dedicated to the city. The refrain of the song says: "Know the pearl, the pearl of Tyrol? The city Kufstein, do you know for sure! Embraced by mountains, located idyllic and harmonious. Yes, this is the town Kufstein, close to the River Inn ... "And still today, Kufstein looks idyllic, as was described in the song.
The symbol of the city is the fortress of Kufstein, dating from the twelfth century, dominating it on a small hill. Among the buildings the most important medieval Tyrolean fortress is located at a strategic point where the valley is a restriction that allow you to control access to the Alps Here is located the museum of history and culture in which they are exposed are several tools old hunter, as arrowheads, or even numerous fossils and artifacts. At the fortress is also the organ of heroes "Heldenorgel", the largest outdoor organ in the world. We have historical records of the fort since 1205 when ownership passed to the bishops of Regensburg. In 1313 it became a fief of the dukes of Bavaria. In 1504 Emperor Maximilian I besieged the fortress and conquered the city of Kufstein doing rebuild the fortress that was at that time extended. A further extension of the structure was made during the seventeenth century. In 1703 and 1805 the Bavarians besieged the fortress back in Austrian hands since 1814. During the First World War the Kufstein Fortress was used as a prison for prisoners of war. Since 1924, the castle is owned by the city of Kufstein.

mi sa che mi sono addormentato, non avevo visto neanche questa foto.....
Uno scatto molto particolare, sembra mezzo a colori e mezzo in B&W, dove la parte a colori ha la bellissima tonalità dorata.

hai trovato uno scenario molto bello ed atmosferico nel buio della notte dove le luci rivelano viste e dettagli intrigatissimi. Mi piace tanto la profondita' di questa vista e la combinazione di tonalita' calorose e fredde che si mescolano con il nero e rendono l' atmosfera molto particolare. Complimenti e grazie!
