Photographer's Note

It is not very difficult to travel from Vienna to Verona by train. The first part went from Vienna to Innsbrück. Info screens in the train switched between german and hungarian; the train had departed from Budapest earlier that morning. At Innsbrück, I switched to the second train that would take me through the Brenner tunnel directly to Verona, Italy. At Innsbrück, it was intriguing to see how the train station is surrounded by snowy alps. At the other end of the platform, the impressive Bergisel ski jump slope of the 1964 & 1976 olympics is still present. With a good strong jump, it seems, a ski jumper could catch the afternoon train to Verona...
