The Palace of Congresses, a photo from Tirane, North

Photographer's Note

This is the hall of the Palace of Congresses. Its main function was to serve as a hosting place for the communist party congresses. But it also served, and still does, as a hosting place for other major events like the annual music Festival of the State Radio-Television of Albania, a spin-off of Sanremo.

Today the building is used for many other private held events. The one in the picture is a furniture fair.
