Photographer's Note

It is very unlikely that the collected works of Enver Hoxha could be found in this impromptu second-hand bookstall in Tirana, capital of Albania.
The former communist leader is totally "out" for most people today in Albania, which has seen an incredibly rapid transformation during the last 5-10 years. Albania, although still poor, is quickly catching up with other countries in southern Europe, and will most likely soon become a tourist destination. The best time to visit this friendly and scenic country is right now, before the crowds start arriving on chartered flights. As yet, foreigners are generally received with open arms and hospitality.
And the Albanian tourist board didn't pay me a cent for this ;-)
