Photographer's Note

View from the fishermen harbor on Panama City business district. The harbor is special place where fishermen arrive with their catch to sell in surrounding restaurants. People can sit there and order fish which was caught not long time ago. Eating the meal people enjoy fantastic panorama of the city.

hello Zbigniew, very nice composition under a bright sun, the colourfull boats in the fg followed by the skyscrapers in the bg are a classic from Panama City

Bonjour Zbigniew,

On ne voit pas souvent de phots de ce pays. On voit qu'il est en pleine croissance avec tous ces gratte ciel en arrière plan et qu'il reste toute de même des traces de son passé à l'avant plan.

Hello Zbigniew,
The skyline and the location near the sea remind me a little of Bocagrande, a part of Cartagena in Colombia.
Nice to see these small fisherboats on the foreground and the lonely seagull in between the buildings.
Excellently composed picture.

I"m not sure why, but there are only 2 pages of photos from Panama on TE, I wonder why so few people go here to visit.
Is Panama not safe?

looking at this scene, its quite photogenic and attractive. a wonderful combination of modern sky scrapers and older rustic charming fishing boats....a bit of old vs new.

fine bg and fg separation as well. excellent post, I hope you have more photos from Panama

I like how you composed this photo, with the small, fishing boats in the foreground. Panama City has grown so much, but thankfully it can still retain its charm, too. I also like the row of skyscrapers in the distance.

Those skyscrapers give quite modern background. Colourful old boats make funny combination with the skyline. Charming sunny view with lots of details to look at.

Hello Zbigniew,

Most people would have posted a harbour shot or a shot of the skyscrapers but you have been able to compose a photograph combining the two in an excellent, sharp exposure! The clarity is quite amazing!
The boats are competing like mini skyscrapers in the f/g, the skyscrapers are hustling for precedence in the b/g and the two extremes are neatly linked by the green boat. It's a cracker of a shot!

Wonderful picture!
Sharpness, exposure, colors, chosen pov and composition are all superb photo qualities that I truly enjoyed!
I love the mix between the super moder skyscrapers in the background and the older boats in the foreground... it's excellent!!!!
I looks like Dubai in a certain way!

Une composition de premier plan. L'image est fort bien composée avec un avant-plan consacré aux bateaux de pêche colorés et un arrière-plan de la ville qui n'a de cesse de s'élancer vers le ciel.
