Photographer's Note

there aren't too many places that we have made a conscious effort to visit twice, the town of Antigua Guatemala (or just Antigua) is one of the few. I can only repeat what I wrote in connection with another photo from this cute town:

if you enjoy colours and photos like this, you must visit la Antigua Guatemala. not "should , but "must", the place looks like a toytown built from colouful Lego cubes. or, as Lonely Planet puts it, "this is a fantasyland - what a country would look like if the Scandinavians came in and took over for a couple of years".
