Photographer's Note

In the beginning of February the sunset in Cuba was around six, so still there was a lot of time for sightseeing and pictures. Here nice square Plaza de Dolores. As everywhere, the Cubans spend time chatting on the street, listening to the music.
Santiago de Cuba is the second largest city of Cuba and capital city of Santiago de Cuba Province in the south-eastern area of the island, some 870 km (540 mi) south-east of the Cuban capital of Havana. Santiago de Cuba was the fifth village founded by Spanish conquistador Diego Velázquez de Cuéllar on July 25, 1515.
Fascinating town.

Another thing. before going to Cuba I have read that the registration plates are in five colours according to the social status of the owner.
White - the government ministers and other important persons, light brown -authorised government and official persons of lower rank, vehicles and motorcycles owned by foreign and mixed companies, foreign journalists, religious institutions, yellow - private vehicles, blue - state owned vehicles. Now all are white.
