Photographer's Note

Still at the Ol' Irish Wolf Hound ...still sitting and watching the world go by ...another cold one just put on the table ...Vietnam. Taking pictures was never so easy ...let them come to you ...all you need to do is be there. for this one, it's around 5:00, I'm sitting at a table on the sidewalk soaking in the last of the setting sun, which just happens to be aligned exactly with the direction of the street. The street sellers are going home for the night, the street is just a bit narrow for cars and trucks and it's mostly people walking, on mopeds and being carted home on one of the many "bicycle taxi's" available for hire in the Old Quarter of Hanoi for about ten cents a ride. Children are running around as their mothers start steaming up their food stalls for the busy nightime streets of the city, no cars or trucks mean they can have peace of mind their children are safe. Another cold beer just handed to me by the waitress, I have nothing to do. Go out chasing a shot in the Hanoi heat ...ha, no way, let them come to me. It's the Old Quarter, it's Hanoi, it's Vietnam. I could saty here.
