Photographer's Note
From Phan Rang downtown, just go 3kms further more towards Phan Thiet direction, turn left and cross a small Champa village... here we are: Nam Cuong sand dune.
The dune itself is very well know not only its immensity but also the colors of the sand; white at the fringe and get red in the center.
And the sand layers multiply more and more if we could move up on top.

Hi Hoang Long,
A wonderful shot! The colours are amazing. The bleak desert is in itself already colourful, but the colours of the little bushes and the people are just great! Guess you've been taking this in raw and playing around with saturation levels? You make it look very graphical, but still natural. Thanks for sharing!
Greetings, Dennis

perfect geometry of the fantastic scenery of dunes, brilliantly lit up by the presence of the colorfully dressed ladies and the other signes of life: the two green bushes :) - love this composition - well done!

Hi Hoang,
This is almost umbelievable!
You catched such a great moment here.
If isn't was enough all the beaty of the landscape, besides you included this perfectly formed group of women, in such colorful dresses, and carryng that crocks on her heads...just so great!
The composition made here couldn't be better, I mean, if this would be a painting, you hardly would find a better way to layout and distribute the elements into.
The slopes and the different hues on the sands at background...
This is a remarkable picture!
My compliments and thank for share it.
Best regards,
JM

Hello Hoang,
I am simply breathless! This picture goes without doubts into my favourites.
How is it possible that you were juste there at the right moment. The subtle texture of the sand dune and its dual grey/yellow color is a perfect background for the group of multicolored wives.
I can't believe it is possible to capture such instants.
Bravo! bravo! Eric /.
