Another 2 photos of Khiva's city walls. They were started in around the 10th century although most of the current walls date from the 17th century and are 10 metres high.
The 2 photos were taken in the same area with the main one shot being taken first. Those small structures on the wall are tombs.
The WS photo was taken later in the other direction as the sun dropped resulting in the richer colour.
