Photographer's Note
Chorsu market in Tashkent is very lively especially on Sundays. It is spotlessly clean with a great rangeof produce.
Chillis get sold in bunches and the bunches are often hung inside or at the entrance to houses to ward off evil spirits. I was told that Uzbeks don't eat a lot of chillis and certainly none of our food whilst there contained any (a pity!).

Bonjour Ian,
Quel beau bouquet coloré. Assez pour mettre le feu à la bouche d'un quartier entier.C'est le temps des marchés où les couleurs sont les plus belles.
Amicalement
Serge
