Photographer's Note
We're just back from a great trip to Uzbekistan ..... so a new series of images starting today.
The Barak-Khan complex in Tashkent includes a 16th century medressa, although the building in this photo is more recent. It was a very hot day and we just about had the whole place to our selves. Sensible people had taken shelter.
