My Wish is... !!!, a photo from Nakhon Pathom, Central

Hi Family

Today I want return to my trip by Thailand and concretely in this image. In the picture you can see as two young monks make a wish in fabric orange that later decorated the Big Pagoda.

In the WS they can see the Great Pagoda and the fabric orange that comment.

An a mazing work, the clearness-sharpness is very good here, the colors are majestic, the left monk writes with his left hand, the other on the right writes with his right hand, looks very interesting.

tu foto tiene un impacto "butano" realmente fuerte y muy llamativo, este color contrasta con la parte muy clara del fondo.
Los dos pequeños monjes dan un toque amable y vital a la composición.
Buena calidad de imagen y una iluminación bien trabajada dan grandes resultados.

¿Hoy ha sido el primer día de trabajo o todavía lo es?

Foto difícil de hacer (y lo digo por la luz) pero siempre interesante. Sobretodo para aquellos ojos a los que todavía les es extraño ver culturas ajenas. Motivo de más para ver en la foto interés.

En cuanto a la composición... déjame que me lo piense... pero no me acaba de hacer el peso. Al menos las espaldas de estos proyectos de monje no me interesan.

Hola hermano, me encantan los tonos cálidos de la composición, es un encuadre cercano con el que se consigue, gracias a la buena definición, ver todos los detalles de la escena, una foto muy agradable por el tema, los colores y la luz.

Muy buena foto con unos colores excelentes, no se porque la tenias guardada, la encuentro magnifica, unico punto es la sobreexposicion al fondo, muy buena composicion y definicion.

Although there are lots of monk photos on TE this shows something different. It's new to me. very good capture with the slightly angled approach.

Hola Sergio, I find the scene very interesting for posting and the overexposition in the background doesn't bother me at all. Love the orange colores and the duplication effect of the scene. The complementar image in WS is also great. Good shot!
I hope that everything is going well in your new job with 'farmacias' (drugstore, I think... :)

Hola Sergio,

Veo que estamos un poco ausentes los dos. Me he perdido algunas tuyas. Eligo esta para recuperar el ritmo. Me gusta mucho el color dominante, este color azafrán de las túnicas, bien acompañado por el tono de la superficie en la que estos pequeños monjes están escribiendo. Los pliegues dan muy buen juego con la luz y las sombras. El conjunto es muy expresivo. Me gusta. Gracias. Un abrazo, y espero que todo te vaya bien.

This is a fine picture, Sergio, with good rich colour and good detail. It is also an interesting document of an aspect of a way of life. The novices are writing Mantras on the fabric, such as " Namo tasa bhagawato sama sambudhasa" This is done, not as a wish but as a meritorious act, to earn Kama.( a bit like, Tibetan prayer flags) This is a really unusual and interestign image.Thanks kevin
