Photographer's Note

On top of the more extreme Tonsai wall is a ledge where some more humanly possible routes start. Here is Daniel, belaying Mikael in a nice 6b route that starts in the right corner of the ledge. The beautiful Tonsai beach is spreading out in the background. You can't see it here, but the beach is lined with nice little bars and restaurants. Further up to the right, in the forest, are the bungalows where people live while being here.

On a silly side note, I almost had an accident taking these pictures. I secured myself by clipping in to a wire attached to the cliff, You can see a bit of it right by Daniels hand, it is similar to a Via Lara wire if you are familiar to those. Unfortunately, the wire was under construction and not all bolts and nuts where properly fastend so when I leaned back over the edge, the wire started running and I started falling. Luckily I only fell about 1 meter before I managed to stop myself by grabbing the free end of the wire running up. If not, I would have hit the sand some 10 meters down.

Taught me a lesson about always investigating what you clip into.

The image is stitched together from 4 separate images using Panorama factory. Unfortunately I didn't get the right most stitch quite right.
