calm stone, a photo from Phitsanulok, North

Photographer's Note

It's a stone doll stand in the garden near Khek river in my province.I capture only his face.Exactly he hold a guard stick.
I was impressed at first I saw.The stone colour--brown make me feel panic but the green moss make a contrast feeling.
I think it's a Bali art.

I love the contrast of the green against the stone, but for me it feels just a little too bright - it's hard to appreciate the form of the stone when the green is bright. Nice viewpoint though.

Hi Threedet, strange and nice image, with a great contrast between the grey stone and the green moss.
in my opinion that image was took too much close to the statue, and had lost something on focus and light.

Very good picture Threedet. The moss looks very lush and helps tie the stone to the ground more. I like this a lot. The light is very good and the focus is very sharp on the front of the face where it's important. Good work. HKL u -David

Good colours, great cropping but I feel the DOF is too shallow, I think it would be better if all the detail of the face was sharply focused.

The bright green moss is a wonderful contrast, both in color and texture. It does look like it was sculpted in Bali. Well done.
