Photographer's Note
Incense use in religious ritual was first widely developed in China, and eventually transmitted to Korea, Japan and Vietnam and Thailand. Incense holds an invaluable role in East Asian Buddhist ceremonies. It is reputed to be a method of purifying the surroundings, bringing forth an assembly of buddhas, bodhisattvas, gods, demons, and the like.

Hi Agnieszka,
it is a beautiful shot with nice colors, perspective and DOF. I like that you made the incense the main theme of the picture. The shape of the wall at the background frames it nicely too.
All the best,
Peteris

Good morning Agnieszka,
This is a pleasant and wonderful depiction of Thai culture and religion. The perspective is good allowing viewers to see the sharp vivid flowers and incense, the deocrative urns, and of course the faithfuls. Exposure looks well managed. I long to visit THailand again, perhaps someday. My compliments...Danilo

The composition (beside the tecnique) is splendid, I think one couldn't do better. Those yellow flowers are a delight and contrast wonderfully with the rest of the image. I like the lady looking at the incense sticks.
Brava,
Donato

Ciao Agnieszka,
The religiousness of the Buddhists is always very suggestive and mysticism, and in this image you show us this beautiful atmosphere. Unfortunately your camera has assembled the focus on the flowers, while it would have been being better to assemble the focus on the girl that prays. However, is always a pleasant photo, compliment!
Ciao, happy sunday!

Czesc,
interesujace miejsce i scena. Nie ma sie tu czego doczepic, bardzo dobrze, ze uzylas flesza, pierwszy plan jest delikatnie doswietlony i wydobywa z obrazu to co najwazniejsze. Dobry kadr i kolorystyka.

hello Agnieszka
You chose a good name Burberry! And I like your series on Thailand because you really captured your adventure deep into the country and its people, like this religious belief and the practice. The attention to the pots of flower in a neat row of repetition here is a good POV, even though the bokeh suffers a little because of f/4 and short FL28mm, the shap focus on the flower and 1st pot gives good detail.
Interesting presentation at this angle.
I think this capture can be more powerful if the effect of the smoke can be thick and the air is a bit darker, but for that you have to change settings and use a tripod.
tfs, bill
