Photographer's Note

About this photo:
Arriving here after a long car driving, I could not wait to see the deep blue and clean waves even it seemed would rain because the clouds were moving quickly.

I used the pebbles as the foreground and slow exposure time to blur the waves. There was a slope in front. I had to be careful not to fall into the water.

It really begun to drizzle after I packed my gear......

Location information:
Sansiantai is the most popular scenic area near Taidong. There was originally a cape at this spot, the sea eventually erodes through the neck of the cape and created an offshore island, which can be reached through the eight-arch bridge. Three great stones are on this island.

Folk legend said that three of eight immortals
stopped here on their way across the sea.
Thus "Sansiantai" means "three immortals" in Chinese. Funny?
