Photographer's Note
Mengjia Longshan Temple
I have not shared photos of Taipei Taiwan – one of my favorite places to visit - starting in 1978 some 40 years ago and onward - to earlier this year at the time of Chinese New Year’s, early February. A freat place to be at this time.
When in Taipei, Taiwan I urge going to the local temples. The one viewed here is one of the oldest, from 1738 - I love going to Asian temples however this one seriously makes me feel like I’m back in time. Very active – great to see during Chinese New Year.
Thanks for viewing! Prof David Thomas Asian Studies PhD

Hello David,
You have captured more than the lovely temple details. you have captured an energetic mood, where crowds have gathered to enjoy the place and possibly the celebration. The colourful clothes help to set the mood, lots of f/g reds, which link with the red lanterns and the red stripes on the roof.
You were right to use as little sky as possible for it nothing to the effect of this enjoyable photograph.
My warm regards,
Bev :-)

Bonjour David,
J'aime bien le cadrage qui semble se préoccuper de la symétrie dans l'image de ce très joli temple qui semble si je me fie à la foule très populaire auprès des touristes.
Amicalement
Serge
