Night watch, a photo from Jurong East, West

Photographer's Note

The picture was taken at Night Safari in Singapore. This is a world's first night time Zoo. Very exciting.

Taking pictures there was extremely difficult due to very low light conditions. Auto focus was not working and I could hardly see an animal through viewfinder. Moreover, animals move constantly.

I had to set ISO to 3200, use monopode and shoot in manual mode.

Yes, with ISO 3200, we can see the noise. Despite of all the difficulty, I've captured very exciting night safari atmosphere. I try to imagine the "animal planet" channel logo in the dark left corner of your picture :)
