Photographer's Note
In 1898, Novodevichy Cemetery was opened. Anton Pavlovich Chekhov was one of the first notables to be interred at the necropolis, and Nikolai Gogol was later reburied there too. During the Soviet epoch, it was turned into the most high-profile cemetery in Russia, with the likes of Peter Kropotkin, Nikita Khruschev, Sergei Prokofiev, Dmitri Shostakovich, and Konstantin Stanislavski being interred there.
Every meter square in its' border is worth to see,has its' own style. Also famous Turkish poet Nazim Hikmet has been buried there, like some other famous poets Mayakovsky and Ogaryov.
The area is about 75000 m2,where is 26000 burial places.
In this pic,I had seen a very young visitor there who was just 6 years old when she died at 1937.I captured the scene with wonders of the fresh flowers there brought by whom, her parents?

Hello Nejat...
Nice photo, and strange.
Yes, the colours are a little bit curious, specially the flowers and the photo of that boy, but I like it very much, it´s like almost a paint.
The compo is very well
Interesting note

Hello Nejat,
Very good composition, very strong in thoughts. I supposed this is not a boy, this is a six years old girl named Nina (for short Ninyelinka)... Nevermind. Well done Nejat. Tesekkurler. maki

A comment from Russia. A six years old girl (d. 1937) and her mother (d. 1973) were buried at this place.

Merhaba Nejat,
Selamlar
