Photographer's Note
When they said "cliff climbing" I thought they were just making it sound exciting - I think I was expecting more of a steep hike. But no, they weren't kidding, it was a tiring one-hour scramble, clinging to jagged rocks like you can see in the foreground, up to the top of the cliff over El Nido. But the view was worth it :)
My trusty circular polarizer brings out the fabulous colours in the sea.
Can't wait to get back there!

Hi Charlotte,
i remember this place as a relaxed and peaceful place. Especially all the small islands around the village was incredibly beautiful. I like your excellent Pov, with an amazing overview. Great composition and colors too. Thanks for taking me back to this lovely place.
Best regards

Hi Charlotte, I spent two weeks there in El Nido surveying each and every shore of islands but never had the time to do just this...yes, I agree with you, its a dangerous act, those are the limestone walls where they get the birds' nests and make those expensive and exquisite bird's nest soup where annual reports of fatal falls from this walls. I hope you tried it. This is a breathtaking view, and looks really different from the sight below...TFS, Alex

Hi Charlotte.
A wonderful panorama. It must have been well worth the hike with a view like this. I never went up there, when I was in El Nico. Guess it has to be next time :-)
I really like your pictures, by the way. Going through them right now with great pleasure.
Best regards,
Henrik.
