Basant, sometimes called Jashan-e Baharaan (Spring Festival) is a festival celebrating the arrival of spring. Many people fly kites from rooftops.The Basant festival heralds the end of winter and arrival of spring. It is celebrated in entire Pakistan and India with flying kites.
