Photographer's Note

Pokhara lakeside. The place is crowded pretty much all the time, people want to go to the temple in the middle of it, or they want to cross the lake. The only way to do this, is by renting a boat. with or w/o a boatsman. or, in this case, boatwoman.
these people do this job for their entire life, and the main goal of most of them is to own a boat of themselves one day.
This particular woman ran the place, or she owned at least a couple of boats. I found it so amazing that women could do this, because its not easy, and u have to be strong.
They were real pirate-women, living on the water and making a living of the water..
