Photographer's Note

Image of a colourful street vendor and probably her children, plying her trade with constant scent of spices filling the air in a bustling open air market in Asantol, Kathmandu. I love how the neatly arranged spices were laid out and needless to say the jovial kids really amused me with their gesture - V sign, is accepted as a common sign of peace in our culture.

Setting: 15 mm, 1/60 sec, F8, ISO Raw 100, 0825 hrs

Hi Abmdsudi

The dark background enhances the vivid colors of the spices and cloth, kids are playing in front of your camera while the mother would like you to buy some stuff. I am surprised by the use of your wide lens, no distorsion at all.
By the way the word corona appears, but I suppose it's a beer trade mark and not the virus!

A great shot of the vendor, the children having fun and her merchandise in front of them. The colours are very pleasant and well-saturated and rich here. Because of the word on the advertisement in the left hand background, I though it was a recent photo, but it isn't. Just a coincidence!

It seems that good humor prevails in this spice stall, it really is an extraordinary composition, it is like a painting, a nice effect is that of the bags with spices.

A lovely scene from the street market. The blue shawl of the girl matches nicely the blue door. Interesting view of the spices in the bags.
