Photographer's Note

Praise of the lake becomes even more solemn when dawn and sunset are set on the water.

It is the second largest lake in Myanmar, with a surface area of 116 square kilometers. It is located in Nyaung Shwe, northeast of Shan Province, on a plateau of 880 m above sea level. The area is surrounded by green mountains and forests, and is home to the most people of the Inta, Myanmar's water tribe, which means "son of a lake."

And Lake Inle is a freshwater lake in Shan province, Myanmar. The lake is 22 km long and 11 km wide. There are 17 water villages in Lake Inle, home to about 70,000~80,000 Inta people.
