Hello Lawlor
In some ways an impressive photo, pitting the tiny figures of horse and man against the vastness of nature, but I think you may have overdone the contrast in the sky - it's just too black and white, and some detail is lost in both light and shadowy areas. But I do like the panoramic crop.

Hi Cale
Dramatic sky indeed. But it's the silhouette of the lonely rider that changes the shot from a casual holiday snapshot to an outstanding travel image. Shows the insignificance of the human being in face of the elements.
Very well composed and good idea to present it in monochrome.
Best wishes

Hi Cale. Impressive image of man versus the elements and the vastness of the steppe.Amazing to think that these grasslands stretched from Mongolia all the way to Hungary and allowed the Mongols a steady larder as the went on the conquering quest. I find the "penciled" line marking the outline of the hills a little odd- as if it has been drawn in. Regards. Klaudio.
