Photographer's Note
Another posting for Chinese traditional house at Melaka town, as what i told in my previos photo this is the oppesite house. This old house have artistic relief sculpture on the wall, and paint in vivid color.
Chinese from China first stay at Melaka since 15th century.
Workshop : I am not sure why this main posting photo have bad balancing of color when preview with old style monitor.

Ally,
Another very good image showing the architectural style of the area. It's very rich in the Chinese influence color and style. Almost temple like looking. Good details and texture of the building, the man in the front add liveliness to the image and provide sense of scale. the one to the right seem like it would be a nice looking house too. Thanks for sharing. Way

Hello Ally
What a colourful home you captured. The architecture is unique and the man standing in front gives a nice perspective. The colours of the shirt on the man is similar to the colours on the home. Well done.

Hello Ally
Well taken shot with excellent features and details. The human element shows us the size of this house which would look small if he hadn't been there. Well composed Ally, it has terrific colours also.

Well done. The colours are very rich and the old house shows well. What I like is the fellow in front that adds human interest to this image. He looks like he just got off his horse.

Hey Ally,
A very colorful house, with some nice details, that are -- well, excuse my ignorance :) very Asian. Beautiful ornaments really. The image itself is perfectly sharpened. The man provides a sense of scale, although one can imagine how tall a house is anyway.
Best regards.

hi Ally
This is a unique looking building facade of the yester years. Your interest in historical buildings has given you more photgraphy opportunity. You will now have more chances to shoot Melaka and Penang as UN WHC sites.

The architecture is very pretty with all the painted decoration. Unusual for me to see pastel colours instead of vivid colours. good idea to include the man for some scale as well as added interest.

Bonjour Ally.
Cette maison toute modeste qu'elle est se trouve très coquette avec ses couleurs et ses décorations.
Beau travail !

Hi, Ally -
Very nice composition, very well framed. I like the soft colors of the building, and the bow-legged man in front is a bit of a curiosity.

Hi Ally,
Very interesting! The façade is very cute in its naivety. It's funny how the pipes on both sides are painted, one in gold and the other in blue. I can't resist being nasty about the man: his legs give a humorous touch that probably was not your intention. I also wonder if he doesn't give a wrong sense of scale: if he isn't very short, then the houses are really high on that street.
Regards, José.

Hi Ally, I've enjoyed looking through your pictures... Malaysia seems to be an unusually colourful place!
I was wondering about your name - shevchenko - is it after the Ukrainian poet? Or something else?
