This photo taken at the midnight of National Day, after all presentations had finish, the time now show by the clock is already 1:22am.
This is a British Colonial building, we still celebrate our 50th Nationhood here.

Great night shot Ally. Love the composition, especially with all the people in the foreground. Perfect exposure resulting in really good colors. It looks like you have a little distortion with both towers leaning in a bit, but that's a result of the lens and not the photographer. A great looking shot.

Hi Ally,
It's a beautiful and very well achieved photo! You managed to capture all the live of the party going on the street and the lights of the buildings, which makes it pretty and at the same time valuable as a documentary of the event.
I like also the WS, much for the same reasons, but I think that the compo of this one is more effective.

Hi Ally,
So....it's 50th National Day for Malaysia. Those day for me National Day was.....'cuti tak ada klass' - 'Taulat Tuanku'!!!
Very well seen and taken....showing us the time its finished and the mess the people made. And people were still celebrating to this hours. The lighting of this shot is superb and clear. Enough to avoid the spotlights.

I was browsing and came across your fine image taken at the midnight of National Day with great night colours and artificial lights.I like this British Colonial building that is floodlight.The existence of the people adds life in the scenery.Excellent capture for a night shot.Well done Ally.

Hi Ally, love the golden tones of the lighting in the building and the mass of people in the shadows we can see here too. The cascade of some artificial light that is coming from off-camera, is adding to the mysterious and hustle-bustle mood of the scene. Well done! I'm headed to KL this fall for a short visit, will have to see if I can find this place...

Among your captures of Kuala Lumpur this one seems to me as the most successful. It shows not only the holyday's illumination but also the Malaysian people and transmits the mood of the holyday. Despite the night conditions the quality of the shot is perfect. Well done!

Taken a short stroll in your gallery, Ally, found this impressive night scene.
Lights well managed, camera set perfectly, and the many people out on National-day(night), gave avibrant texture to the photo.
Both this and the WS are fine shots, with good contrast against the dark sky.
