Photographer's Note

There are two main jetties for the fishing fleet of Teluk Pahang on the island of Penang, one is the very modern one and the other one is the traditional wood jetty, which is extremely narrow as seen in my photograph. It is meant to walk but the fishermen uses it with their motorcycles almost "dancing" over the Jetty, but they do not drive slowly, the drive rather fast and you have to bend to one of the poles to let them pass. Interestingly the fishermen seem to favor the wooden jetty more then the concrete modern one, where mostly speed boats wait for passengers. Some of the bigger trawler use the new jetty as well.
