Photographer's Note

Lata Iskandar is a waterfall alongside the trunk road from Tapah to the Cameron Highlands, located about 25 kilometers before Ringlet. The waterfall cascades over several tiers of granite slopes, with the last drop at 25 meters high flowing into a small pool below, before resuming its journey as a narrow stream.

Its closeness to the road means that the waterfall is often over-run by tourists and local visitors taking a dip in the cold waters or taking photographs. There is a line of ramshackle shops and stalls along the main road opposite the waterfall selling ethnic souvenirs, tribal handicrafts, local herbs of all descriptions and tropical fruits.
