Photographer's Note

It is a dull day today over here in West Kazakhstan. For us it is a very unnoying thing as we got used to sunny days most of the year. In winter it is frosty and healthy weather with snow and ice on the rivers. In summer it is like on this picture - hot and merry :-)

Wow...great action. The DOF is wonderful as it also added to the motion blur of the other people. Good timing, good composition.

Would you have asked me what Khazakstan looks like, I would never have thought about such a scene :)

But that's a great and original view. You could brighten the picture a bit by adjusting white balance but it's a superb action scene.

Nice summer action picture. Maybe there could have been a little more space on the left side of the person sitting. Otherwize a really nice composition and great timing. Nicely captured!

Great framing, however the man on the bottom could have more space.

Nice action shot. Not only one but 4 guys frozen in their move, great. I like the man in front it gives some depth to the picture and I don't mind the tight framing to the left, I would even crop tighter so that he would look like he's leaning on the border of the photo.

Wow, these guys can jump. Kazakhstan certainly looks very merry in summer. DOF is well used with the figures and the water being captured in mid-air. The water seems a little dark... nevertheless, it is a good image.

Fantastic stop action! They look like they are having so much fun, and the expressions on the thier faces are wonderful. This has life.

Very nice and funny composition. I like the arch formed by the three boys in air. I'd like to know the reaction of the man in foreground and over all what he is thinking about the boys. The picture gives very well the idea of difference between the carefree youth and the reflective maturity.

interesting shot from this part of the wirld, reminds me some russian realist painters beacuse of the colours.
