In most cases, old and smaller houses replaced with new and larger houses.
After a car or two parked, there is almost no space for gardening.

I like the compostion of the houses, and the point of view you have chosen.
Japanese houses never cease to amaze me, the way they're built in a seemingly haphazard manner. It seems to contradict what most people see as a very logical, efficient, country.
The lighting is great too, creating a lot of shadow which compliments the angles.
