I like it very much. This picture has a great feeling of gung ho, take a leap of faith, happiness to it.
Extra attention is brought to the center due to a greater contrast there, the dark tones fade towards the edges, almost like some inverse vignetting. Is this intentional or due to some development technicality? either way, it really works in this picture.

I remember one scene of a kurosawa movie.
It seems that a samurai's soul is dwelling in this artist. (with Fundoshi & Katana)
