Back to Shirakawago, as my latest posting for a cuty girl is deleted---.
This is from most famous view point, but not to close up houses but set beside surrounding mountains. As you see, Shirakawago, charming village of the world Heritage is surrounded by the mounatins.

Hello Takero,
This is a magnificent photo. I love the very weak light seen on the distant hills, and the contrast with the almost monochrome appearance of the shady valley with the village. If you had made this in a vertical composition I could have thought it was a work by one of the great Japanese masters. ;-)

Beautiful landscape, a typical bitter cold scene and valleys along with wonderful cottages and enormous mountains surrounding it. The snow covered trees and glimpse of catch light add that extra beauty. It's another great winter scene, Hope you had your boots on! Congrats
