Nice to have u back, been missing for sometimes and what a great surprise here! well worth getting up at 3am braving the cold and be at the most strategic shooting point to witness the incredible sunrise and the dramatic smokey Bromo. It certainly has impact, and the imagination moves into overdrive wondering where and how it was taken. It's a spectacular volcanic landscape and a truly Jurassic experience, great light and how marvelous you were able to catch it. That's Magnificent Mt Bromo well caught, Congrats

Salut Patrick, très bonne image de ce point de vue magnifique sur les volcans de cet endroit intéressant, très bien pris dans ce tableau intéressant de beau paysage avec une bonne netteté, profondeur, une bonne lumière, la couleur et la qualité. Hello Patrick - After quite a long absence from TE, it is lovely to see you back and with such a memorable shot. One of the things I like best about this image is the subtlety of colours and light. It is so delicately managed with both the wispy cloud and the smoke from the crater being well-detailed and the 'pleating' on the volcanoes attractively lit.

Amazing landscape with these otherworldly shapes. The smoke adds an extra point of focus.
I'm planning to travel there sooner rather than later so looking forward to more images!

C'est une très jolie photo de cette enfilade de cônes volcaniques, bien composée.
L'ensemble aurait mérité un peu plus de contraste, mais n'en reste pas moins très agréable à contempler.

There you are again! And back with a cracker. I love the subtle gradation of tone, and the calm horizontal clouds contrasting with the more sinister smoke from the volcano crater. Masterful.
