Candi (temple) Muaro Jambi situated 35 km away from Jambi, Sumatra. Spreading partialy laid at 5hsa sq, took almost 7 km long.
Unlike other candis in the neighboring island of Java that mostly built from carved black stones , Candi Muaro Jambi was built from bricks made of clay (red earth) that were put together to form this holy temple. The picture shown was the main entrance of the temple. It was guarded by this stony mystical figure.
