Photographer's Note

Travel to the Beach Watu Karung (WK) is not easy. Hidden in one of the points along the southern coastline of Pacitan (East Java, Indonesia), Watu Beach Sacks can be reached by motorcycle or a rental car through winding roads up and down hills. One hour trip was not there forever, even on arrival in a village called Watu Sacks, still no sign of the beach. And suddenly comes a harbor with dozens of small boats in front. This place is also home to the fishermen about the fish auction. But the journey is not over because the surf spots are in different places.

Passing through a narrow street with houses on either side. Ahead of a beautiful beach with turquoise-colored waves stretching. Stretch of white sand was very soft. The islands off-shore coral decorate. Bright sunshine and blue skies make everything more perfect. Watu Beach Bag is nirvana.

Behind its beauty, Beach Watu Sacks proved to have extraordinary waves. With this type of reef breaks and seabed in the form of rocks, at certain moments Watu Beach Bag can produce barrels that will make the surfer was in heaven. Both surfers with a goofy or natural style can surf here because Sacks Watu Beach has waves right and left. This place is also not too crowded, so that surfers can catch the waves with a liberal. Offshore wind usually comes in the month of April to October, making these months are the best times to mingle with barrel Watu Sacks. Year 2009, Indonesia’s top surfer Rizal Tanjung invites Bruce Irons, winner of the Rip Curl Pro Search 2008 to try out and prove how waves Watu Beach Bag is a world-class waves
