Photographer's Note
This is a very small shop near a village road and I am watching this shop since last few years but could not have opportunity to take photo. Only few customers a day but looks she manages to make a living out of it.
Recently when returning back to home with my family, I could not resisted myself by taking this photo from a quite distance. It was sunny day and she was sitting inside her Tea Stall (hut). It made this composition difficult because properly control light and shadows was hard to manage.

Hello Rakesh,
In spite of difficulties I think you handled the light quite well. An interesting picture with fine colours. The slippers in the lower part disturb the picture a bit. There is of course the possibility to remove them quite easily in Photoshop, but some will say that would break the rules.

Gert

Hi, Rakesh,
I like this daily life shot tremendously.
It gives so much information about life!
The lady doesn't seem too happy sitting there but she shows great patience.

Rakesh: perhaps you kept the shoes in the picture for context thought you could have toned this down with the highlights filter. Fine imager regardless. best, c

Hi Rakesh,
You have managed the hard sun light well in the shot. The front part is overexposed but all other things are superb. Very good documentary shot.

Hi Rakesh,
A vivid and candid portrait of the reality of her hard life. Your work taming the difficult light situation is remarkable. The compo is well done.

Hello Rakesh!
Thanks for this excellent portrait of this business lady. I admire her hand sewn veil on her head. I admire how exuberant are Indian dress colors.
Many greetings!

Hi Rakesh,
Who says that light and shadows are not controled properly?
This kind of photograph is of hig value and the sunlight infront of her says only one thing........her days of tough times are now over. She would be more happy, and earn more and live a good life.....this is what I feel now.
From darkness to light....see her right foot is already in the air...ready to step forward.
these are my prayers for her.
