Photographer's Note
Baroli or Badoli Temples are series of temples mainly devoted to Lord Shiva and were built between 8th and 9th Centuries. Later, Mughal Emporer Aurangjeb destroyed these temples including many beautiful artwork.
Recently, these are again cleaned and renovated and I was amazed to see the details which was invisible some time ago.
This place is near to Kota city but officially comes within another district (Chittaurgarh).

Hi Rakesh,
Wow! This shot could easily make the cover of a travel brochure; Incredible India!
It's impressive to see all the details you've been able to catch, on the temple, it's surrounding and on the forefront sculpture. Actually, I might be wrong, but I think it's two separate images, one for the general scene and one for the sculpted monument that you've closed-cut and blend together to create a very beautiful image. Very sharp and creative.
Happy New Year Rakesh!

Very upfront and very clean and clear. The figure on the right makes a lot for the depth and perspective. Nice PP with a rich contrast and full range of levels.
I think you can crop the building on the left to get a more concentrated composition.

Hi Rakesh,
Beautiful architecture and sculpture, in a remarkable state, considering that Aurangzeb tried to destroy it. You chose a clever POV and the light is wonderful.
TFS. Have a nice 2008.
Regard, José.
