Vrindavan street scene, a photo from Uttar Pradesh, North

Photographer's Note

We were going to visit some temples at Vrindavan on a Cycle Rickshaw. Suddenly, these people chanting "Hare Rama -- Hare Krishna" appeared from a narrow street from left side. Immediately I prepared my camera and took this photo. It all happened within 20-25 seconds and this group of people disappeared.

You can see a strip of Rickshaw at left. One interesting point you can feel at Vrindavan is that each Rickshaw man will neither buzz a horn nor he will loudly call you like "side please" but all of them politely speak "Radhey Radhey" that means they want a side to cross.

It's amazing how you could get such a vivid and sharp photo so quickly and from inside a rickshaw. Their faces are very expressive.

very good shot with great timing and however you did it quickly, the result is excellent, with perfect sharpness and very good lighting. I like the different expression captured, especially that of the little girl, who seems a bit surprised of your action. Very good one! Tfs and best wishes.

Rakesh Ji, Very nice and clear picture. The colors are crisp contrast. The picture tries to diffrentiate different stages of human life, i.e. child, young people, old people. Its good that some persons who were attracted to your camera havent forgot to keep continuing their original act.
