Temple ruins, a photo from Rajasthan, West

Photographer's Note

While going from famous Chittorgarh Fort to Bassi and Bundi we stopped in a place where there were some temples in ruin, near a falling water.
Today I spent time to remember this place name: I looked at the date in my picture, I looked at my tour program and finally at my Lonely Planet book: the place must be Menal, because it is close to a falling water. (but I have a doubt: it could be also Bijolia, not far from it) So I learn that I should write everything during my tours.

nice the view of these ruins from the Chittorgarh Fort.I like the perspective and the stones in the foreground as and the grass that surround the ruins.Excellent the light and the colours.I'd like the light to was a little bit darker.Informative your note too.Well done Livia.

molto bella questa foto con ottimo POV e bei colori. Ma hanno ricostruito il tempio assemblando le rovine trovate lì intorno? Mi dà l'idea dei castelli costruiti con le carte da gioco...

e' impressionante questo tempio come dice Carlo fatto come i castelli di carte ,
a me da l'impressione che i pezzi sia volati con il vento .
bella foto come al solito ma metti un po' di ordine nelle tue innumerevoli foto.....

Hi Livia,
You are right. This is Menal, one of the great Picnic spot around Kota, Bundi and Bhilwara district. I like the POV here. Monsoon effect in terms of green is giving the pictuer a beautiful touch touch.

Beautiful catch of this so impressive ruins. I like very much your vertical compostion with the fallen parts in the foreground and the still standing ruins behind. Very nice.

a guardare bene la sommità del Tempio sembra davvero che la assemblino con i pezzi sparsi qua e là dappertutto.
Interessante immagine di reperti e ottimo Pov in cui dai un'idea di quanti ne siano e come sono distribuiti...

I love history, old buildings and especialy ruins in wild surrounding. This photo has it all. Beautiful colors, contrasts and composition.
