"Gaushala", a photo from Rajasthan, West

Photographer's Note

This is again a daily life of cows outside the GauShala (A shelter for Cows). As I was reached between them, they all excited in the hope that I may have something to give them. You can see all of them watching me for the same.

This shelter is managed by a society and they take care of every cow here.

Evening photo, the Sun was dull enough so no sharp shadows or highlights here.

I have posted slightly different edit of the same. Please let me know which one is good.
Original: more bright, more cropped

A good shot of all the cows. I prefer your workshop photo. I like the colours here, with the few brown cows scattered amongst the white ones. It is a shame that you couldn't get the front brown cow's face. If you could have captured it's entire head, it would have really enhanced the photo in my opinion.

Hi Rakesh,
You present us a nice pattern of a crowd of cows. Their shapes and variate colours makes a great image. and their "expression" surely looks funny.
Curious place - a shelter for cows...

Si je devais choisir entre les deux photos, je pense que mon choix se porterait sur la photo publiée en atelier qui semble plus construite.
Malgré tout, j'apprécie les deux photos.
Une photo difficile à réaliser, bravo !

Joli la prise de ce troupeau blanc et brun, bon cadrage et des jolies couleurs,avec une préférence pour celle du WS, aux couleurs plus accentué

very well captured and nicely framed shot of this cattle. The light is under control and the colours are well saturated. Very good overall sharpness.

An interesting pattern seems to have emerged with the cows. The colours are good and bright. I would nitpick about the bull on the left...should have tried to get it's head in the frame...otherwise a very good shot!

Hi Rakesh,
Lovely shot of virtually counless cows. Tones of grey and brown match well together. And you have caught attention of most of them. I prefer this version, as the head of the cow in the left is unfortunately split in the WS.

Cool composition with the numerous animals filling entire frame. I like this sort of "crowded" shots a lot. Nice patches of brown and white..Good shot.

The soft light on these countless cows has created a wonderful pattern. The sharp horns and the brown ears looks impressive.
