Photographer's Note

This pic was taken at Jaldapara Wild Life Sanctuary, situated in Alipurduar Sub-Division of Jalpaiguri district in West Bengal. It covers 216 sq km. It contains a great diversity of flora and fauna and it is also home to a wide variety of wild life, particularly the great Indian one horned rhinos. The river Torsha flows through this rain forest sanctuary which is mostly covered with tall grasses. Elephant riding is one of the major attraction of this sanctuary. It cost Rs. 140 per head for 1 hr ridding.

At the time of taking this shot I was on another elephant's back.
