Photographer's Note

some kids in the courtyard of Fatehpuri Masjid/Old Delhi, with their traditional muslim dresses..

a nice mosque, much quieter than famous Jama Masjid..

Ps. i took this slide a year ago but it was not useable unfortunately: a greasy grime, fingerprints and dust all over.. it is ok now. you can still see some dust dots on the ground and on the columns in the background though..

my recipe as a long time slide shooter:
de-mount the slide, and then dish soak it into a solution of Kodak E-6 Final Rinse (which is a fixer)that's been warmed to about 40 Celcius,, and rub the dirt with your fingers for five minutes, then you can dry it with a hair blower, thats it. if you dont have any of these, some distilled water and a couple of liquid dish detergent added to the water might give a similar result (not exactly but still).. :)

A beautiful shot, has everything - static portraiture an fleeting action. Great Nikon crisness (you KNOW that's true) and colors. Man that Fm3A is a nice camera,eh?

Your slide is full with recovery history. Result is excellent.

I like especially the runner behind of them. It’s blurry, wonderful; showing us they are still child, still young men, still in their play period. Two buddies at background add value too with nicely colored of Fatehpuri Masjid columns. Congratulations.

First...reading your note, you technical knowledge astounds me...I wish I knew about these kinds of things.
The image is lighter in tone than what I consider your style but it is not so wide a departure and it is still very appealing. The combination of a 'classic' portrait with the great ghostly figure zipping through the frame is just fantastic. So well captured...so interesting

Bu gerçekten harika Evren... Yine bir hayalet yakalamayı başarmışsın...:))) Çok enteresan bir kare olmuş...

Buna senin dijital öncen diyebilir miyiz bilemiyorum ama Mark'ın da belirttiği gibi şimdiki arayışınla karşılaştırıldığında bira klasikleşmiş kalıyor...

Değişmeyen yine mükemmel kompozisyon ve renk uyumu...:)))
